report by Stuart Malcolm

One rainbow and one brown trout caught on opening day by Jim Twaddle from the bank. I also witnessed Jim losing a large brownie, this must have been some size of fish as he had an incredible bend in the rod, as the fish stripped a lot of line off the reel. Apart from Jim's catch, Gary Millar also caught a rainbow trout; taking the total for the day to three trout. There were five boats taken out today with John Shaw jagging into four fish using a Clan Cheiftan and all other boats returning with zero catches. So well done to the bank anglers for their acheivments. Our bank anglers today were Robert Forsyth, Robert Malcolm, Ronnie (THE MECHANIC) and Francis Malcolm. Other members were spotted out on the boats, however embarrissingly I am not familiar with all of their names bar one person, Eddie Donnelly, Pictures above taken today by our club Photographer David Morrison,
