End of season Photo's at Antermony and the Lake of Montieth
By Roger Hughes
Photos
from our last casts of the year, on the Lake of Menteith. Iain got
two in two casts, for 4lb, one being a very hard fighting 'Blue'.
On the
basis of 'One fish equals luck, two fish coincidence and three fish
skill',
you can see that he was just in the right place at the right time,
skill
didn't come into it.
It was a glorious day, sunny, with a nippy breeze - paradise!
The last photo shows Antermony in its autumn colours, I was over on
Saturday. Unfortunately we are still blessed with cormorants, I counted
nine
when I arrived. Currently John Harwood and Gary Miller are working
on the
burn to improve it for spawning trout, so I'm hoping for lots of wee
trout
for next year.
