The Stowaway

A few stalwart geriatrics took the boats out on sunday. An unexpected visitor was an 18" eel which had been in the flooding hull of one of the boats and fell on the boat-house floor. This was returned to the loch.

'The Club expects heavily used equipment to get damaged occasionally and will not be looking for 'culprits', so in future we would be grateful if members would let a committee member know immediately if any equipment has sustained damage, so that we arrange for repairs or replacement before the damage worsens or someone is injured.'

Secretary
